Mrs. Elathy Nadene Brown, age 91 of Prescott , Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Prescott . Mrs. Brown was born in Prescott , Arkansas on October 11, 1924 to Edgar and Azzie Golden Pruitt,She was a homemaker and a member of Boughton Baptist Church . She loved cooking and canning foods for her family. Her favorite hobby in life was fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband J. C. Brown, a son James Carroll Brown, a daughter Carrie Jane Duncan, two brothers, Carroll and Edgar Pruitt, two sisters Ollie Jane Parker and Eunice Ingersoll, four grandchildren, Joey Brown, Wayne, Max and Rita Warren.

Survivors include; three sons, John Thomas Brown, wife Ronda of Texarkana, Arkansas, Gary Allen Brown, wife Teresa of Prescott, Arkansas and Rickie Glenn Brown, wife Ramona of Hope, Arkansas, son in law Jim Duncan of Ashdown, Arkansas, daughter in law Martha Brown of Rosston, Arkansas, thirteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, July 18, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott .

Funeral services will be 10:00am on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Brazzel/ Cornish Chapel with Bro. Neil Ridling officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton.
