Mrs. Elda Chism, age 83 of Hope, Arkansas passed away peacefully, July 12, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Wallaceburg, Arkansas on October 22, 1933 to Troy and Eura Ann Johnson Irwin. Mrs. Chism was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Hope and a retired bookkeeper. She is preceded in death by her parents; Troy and Eura Ann Irwin, a son; Quint Chism and a brother; Lual Irwin.

Survivors include; two daughters; Shona Karr and husband, Dale of Tucson, Arizona and Lavon Webster, husband, Rocky of Tucson, Arizona, a sister; Fannie Wood of Hope, six grandchildren: Shawn Chism, Tiffany Cox, Cedar Nidzgorski, Starla Thompson, Sage Mathew and Syndle Karr and 13 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Chism is Friday, July 21, 2017, between 6:00 and 8:00pm at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service is 10:00am, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at
