Mrs. Elizabeth M. Barber, 84 of Greencastle, Indiana, formerly of McCaskill, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Barber was born February 12, 1927 to Alfred Povall and Mary Alice Jackson Povall. She was a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Martin Barber, son, William A. Barber, and grandson, Thomas Thad Downen. Mrs. Barber is survived by one son, David Barber and Brenda, McCaskill, Arkansas; two daughters, Yvonne Downen, Greencastle, Indiana, Lisa Chote and Danny, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two sisters, Pat Ryan, Lafayette, Indiana, Sheila Kimmey, Morton, Illinois; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
