Elizabeth M. Murphy passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born on February 7th, 1942, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Neil S. Murray and Hazel Murray.

Elizabeth was a professional woman who dedicated 25 years to the Michigan Public School System as an educator. She also pursued her entrepreneurial spirit by owning a flower shop and a bed and breakfast. Elizabeth was a passionate and creative person with many hobbies and interests, including antique collecting, traveling, and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, William Ward Murphy.

Elizabeth is survived by her two children, Richelle Treves and Bill Sargent, her four grandchildren, Gabriel Treves, Rui Treves, Micah Treves, and Drew Sargent, and her three great-grandchildren, Adelyn Sargent, Evelyn Sargent, and Brenlynn Sargent.
