Mrs. Elizabeth B. "Aunt Pig" Haynie, 91, Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008, in a Hope hospital. She was born on September 2, 1916, in Nevada County, Bluff City, Arkansas, to the late Tom and Lillie Weaver Gulley. She was a homemaker. She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Union Grove Baptist Church. She served as President of the Mothers Board and Choir for many years and was a participant of the Womens Mission, Cooking Ministry and the Community Singing Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Haynie and one daughter, Charlene Kelley. SHE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORIES: ONE DAUGHTER: Bertha Parish( Melvin), Dallas, Texas. TWO SONS: Vernall Gulley (Dorothy), Gurdon, Ark. Otis Box (Linda), Dallas, Texas. ONE SISTER: Burma Dean Purifoy, Bluff City, Ark. ONE BROTHER: Herman L. Gulley, Gurdon, Ark. And Twelve Grandchildren, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Union Grove Baptist Church, Bluff City, Ark., with Rev. Fred Walters and Pastor Leon Parham officiating.
