Elizabeth Stacey, 72, of Dallas, Texas, (formerly of Hope, Arkansas), passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday February 12th, 2014 after a decade-long journey with Alzheimer's disease. Liz was born June 26, 1941 in Hope, Arkansas and was the eldest daughter of Tully Edgar and Hazel Vider Auld Hair. She graduated from Hope High School and resided most of her adult life in Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tully and Hazel Hair; her sister, Margaret Sue Johnson, her brother James Tully Hair and her son, Brian Keith Hinton. Her survivors include three daughters: Barbara Barta of Flower Mound, Texas; Sandra Palomares, of Dallas, Texas and Tammy Kelly of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Sciaretta of Arlington, Texas and Sheila Pruett of Savannah, Georgia along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. While our hearts ache with the loss, we are comforted by knowing her health has been restored and that she has joined our loved ones in heaven. The family is grateful to the compassionate staff at Dallas Center of Rehabilitation for her care during her last year. Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 15th, 2014, in the Chapel at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Mark Faulkner officiating.
