Elmer M. Anderson, 86 of Hope, passed away, Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Hope. Mr. Anderson was born September 30, 1926 in Hope, Arkansas to Willie L. and Lee Buster Anderson. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hope and a US Navy veteran of World War II. He is a retired painter and a past member of the Hempstead County Rescue Unit and his favorite hobby was fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Willie Anderson, Jr. Survivors include; three brothers; James M., John A. and Jess Anderson all of Hope and one sister; Mrs. Maxine Lively also of Hope. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
