Mr. Elmer O. Grant, 73 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2012 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Grant was born November 17, 1938 in Nevada County, Arkansas to Norman and Ora Purtle Grant. Mr. Grant has for over fifty years been a Missionary Baptist Minister in the Hope area. He is a member of the Shover Springs Baptist Church in Shover Springs. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with grandchildren watching TV and the Razorbacks. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Junior McNatt. He is survived by his wife, Linda Grant of Hope, Son, Kiley Grant of Texarkana, Texas, three daughters; Karen Grant Campbell of Texarkana, Texas, Mandy and Jason Pauley of Hope and Casey and Todd Lauterbach of Hope, three brothers; Terrell Grant of Texarkana, Arkansas, Kenneth Grant of Hope and Wayne Grant of Bogalusa, Louisiana, nine grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 20 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Grant will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 21 in the Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Bobo, Rev. Eric Barbaree and Rev. B. G.
