Mr. Elmer Ernest Sorrells, age 73, of Spring Hill, Arkansas, fondly called PeePaw went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. He was born on February 19, 1937, in Big Springs, Texas, to Elmer and Leona Francis Belcher Sorrells. He was an army veteran and a truck driver for Missouri Pacific. PeePaw loved eating breakfast at Caf 29, fishing and visiting his friends at Lake Irling. He loved his church, Liberty Baptist Church in Stamps, Arkansas and his church family, but most of all he loved the Lord. PeePaw was loved and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and Papa Kennedy. His Survivors Include: His Wife: Helen L. Phillips Sorrells, Spring Hill, Arkansas. Three Sons: Jimmy Sorrells and Susan, Hope, Arkansas; Billy Sorrells and Karen, Hope, Arkansas; Ernie Sorrells and Karyn, Spring Hill, Arkansas. One Sister: Leona Sue Mayfield and Mike, Covington, Texas Thirteen Grandchildren: Joshua Birdsong, Ryan Sorrells, Kyle Sorrells, Emily Sorrells, Zachariah Sorrells, Cassidy Sorrells, Alan Buckley, Dexter Buckley, Tatom Buckley, Joyce Breeding, Justin Breeding, Josie Rucker and Marleigh Hanson. Two Great-Grandchildren: Chayden Breeding and Jaylee Breeding. And several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Bro. Ernie Sorrells and Bro. Michael Hight officiating.
