Mrs. Elsie Lee Ghormley, age 94, of Sutton, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas. She was born December 9, 1915, in Nevada County, Arkansas, to Robert Lee and Kate Floss Lambert Wesson. She was a housewife and mother and member of Harmony United Methodist Church, Sutton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Peck Ghormley; and four brothers, Jewell, Ernest, Ellis and Charles Wesson. Her Survivors Include: One Son: Charles Ghormley and Carolyn, Hope, Ark. One Daughter: JoAnn Wren, Texarkana, Ark. Six Grandchildren: Shorty Ghormley, Hope, Ark. Chris Ghormley, Hope, Ark. Cynthia Lee, Spring Hill, Ark. Shayne Wren, Texarkana, Ark. Bryan Wren, Texarkana, Ark. Christi Sullivan, Hope, Ark. Thirteen Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Harmony United Methodist Church, Sutton, Arkansas, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
