Emily Devenney's Obituary
Mrs. Emily DeVenney, age 76 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday August 26, 2018, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born to Ben and Marie Reid McBay on December 23, 1941 in Spring Hill, AR. She was a retired Registered Nurse and Attorney at Law and attended South Side Baptist Church in Hope. Mrs. DeVenney is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George DeVenney, a son Jeff DeVenney, a daughter Melissa DeVenney Smith, and a brother Gary McBay.
Survivors include; two sons, Tim DeVenney (Allison) and Ben DeVenney both of Hope, AR, daughter, Elaine Arnold (Dr. Sam) of Camden, AR, two step children, Pat Beavers (Mike) and Frank DeVenney (Judy) both of Hope, AR, two brothers, Billy Ray McBay of Spring Hill, AR, Randy McBay of Hope, AR, two sisters, Shirley Burke of DeAnn, AR, Sherry Wylie (Steve) of Hope, AR, six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a number of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday September 1st 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Hope, AR.
Funeral Service, 2:00 pm Saturday September 1st 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online registry: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
