Mrs. Emma Nell Grifford, age 90 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Mrs. Grifford was born September 16, 1925 in Prescott, Arkansas to John Thomas and Sarah Emma Cornelius Wilson. She was a member of Prescott Church of Christ and she served as a Nevada County Clerk for 17 years. Mrs. Grifford is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Wilson, her husband, Arlin Grifford, seven brothers; Johnny, Malcolm, Jen, Frank, Ralph, Leonard, and Nick Wilson, and two sisters; Sarah Harvey, and Betty Burroughs.

Survivors include; two daughters; Sara Cox of Okolona, Arkansas, Candy Haynie and her husband, Jim, of Chandler, Texas, eight grandchildren; Jamie Williams and his wife, Monica, of Bryant Arkansas, Beth Poindexter and her husband, Andrew, of Prescott, Arkansas, Ryan Haynie of Ashdown, Arkansas, Robyn Haynie of Chandler, Texas, Jay Cox and his wife, Heather, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Greg Cox and his wife, Karen, of Magnolia, Arkansas, Mandy Lane and her husband, Corrie, of Prescott, Arkansas, a special granddaughter, Ashley Jackson of Prescott, Arkansas, eight great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas.

Memorial Service is 2:00pm Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Chapel with Jerry Wilson and Bro. Dennis Jones officiating. Burial to follow at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas.
