Mr. Ernest L. Morton, 75, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. He was born February 15, 1935, to Leonard and Allie Ogden Morton. Mr. Morton was a retired truck driver and member of Hope Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Annie Marie Spicer Morton, and one sister, Christine Morton Bobo. His Survivors Include: His Wife: Patsy Lynn Clark Morton, Hope, Arkansas. Four Sons: Erney Morton and Phyllis, Prescott, Arkansas; Michael F. Morton and Janice, McCaskill, Arkansas; Jerry Don Morton, McCaskill, Arkansas; Randall Clymer and Shanna, Conway, Arkansas. Two Daughters: Cindy Jones and Lawrence, Hot Springs, Arkansas; Rhesa McMorris, Hope, Arkansas. Two Brothers: Dwayne Morton and Dorothy, Hope, Arkansas; Jerry Morton, Blevins, Arkansas. Three Sisters: Darlene Lloyd, Hope, Arkansas; Shirley Smith, Hope, Arkansas; Judy Downs, Hope, Arkansas. Eight Grandchildren: Aaron Morton, Angela Johnson, LeAnn Johnson, Cody McMorris, Megan Yingling, Matthew Clymer, Phillip Brady, Matthew Brady. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Bro. Jason Sparks and Bro. Harley Sisson officiating.
