Mrs. Esther McLain, age 92 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 in a local hospital. Mrs. McLain was born in Hope, Arkansas on September 20, 1924 to Wesley and Ollie Freeman Maxwell. She retired from the Shan House as a seamstress and she was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Hope. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. McLain is survived by her two sons; Preston McLain of Texas and Roger McLain, and wife, Chris of Riverhead, New York, numerous grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Southside Missionary Baptist Church 2805 Hwy. 29 South Hope, Arkansas 71801 in memory of Mrs. McLain.
