MRS. ETHEL ADAMS, 93, of Joliet, Illinois, (Formerly of Prescott, Arkansas), passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Illinois. She was born on March 12, 1916, in McCaskill, Arkansas, to Jeff and Tempe Long Overton. She was homemaker and resided most of her adult life in Prescott, Arkansas. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Alvin Adams; two sisters, Lois Belt and Ora Hendrix; one brother, Artis Lee Overton; and son-in-law, Ralph Taylor. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: TWO DAUGHTERS: JoAnne Winchester and Don, Joliet, Illinois. Gale Willmore and Kenneth, Memphis, Tennessee. Two Grandsons: Wayne Taylor and Becky, Custer Park, ILL. Kenneth Taylor and Rose, Wilmington, ILL. One Granddaughter: Lynn Rucker and Kenneth, One Sister: Helen Rogers and Billy, Bloomington, California. And Five Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Ark., with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
