Mr. Eugene Collums, age 81 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Friday, August 25, 2017 in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Collums was born Edcouch, Texas on January 17, 1936 to James Erie and Goldie Mae Ferguson Collums.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and retired from the Arkansas Highway Department as a welder. Mr. Collums is preceded in death by his parents; James Erie and Goldie Mae Collums, his four brothers; J.B., Gilbert, Donnie and Gary Collums, his three sisters; June Cox, Frances Stevenson and Myrtis Simmons.

Survivors include; his wife of 60 years, Joyce Dean Hampton Collums of Hope, a son; Jeff Collums and wife, Jane of Hope, two daughters; Pam Hare and husband, Randy of Hope and Terri Boatwright, and husband, Russ of Collierville, TN, six grandchildren: Tim Hare, Colter Boatwright, Emily Elizabeth Salisbury, Andrea Fuentez, Jacob Collums and Kenzie Boatwright, two great-grandchildren: Georgia Fuentez and Sutton Hare, other family members and friends.

Visitation is Monday, August 28, 2017 between 6:00 and 8:00pm at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 S. Main, Hope.

Funeral service is Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:00am, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Martin and Bro.
