Obituary

Mrs. Eunice McKillop, age 95 of Hope, Arkansas passed Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. McKillop was born January 15, 1920, in Galveston, Texas, to Andrew Jackson "A.J." Wheeless and Annie Drucilla Dingler. She was a member of the St. Marks Episcopal Church in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. McKillop was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Habitat for Humanity, Republican Women, and an auxiliary member for the Guernsey Fire Department. Mrs. McKillop was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Allen McKillop, who passed away in 1986, a daughter, Janice Smith, two brothers; Chester and Sidney Wheeless, and one sister, Eva Baker. Survivors include: one sister, Helen Grantham of Chickasha, Oklahoma, two grandchildren; Carolyn Smallwood and her husband, Allan, of St. Augustine, Florida, Chad Smith and his wife, Patricia, of Opelousas, Louisiana, three great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends. Visitation is 10:00-11:30am Wednesday morning, May 20th, 2015, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. 1001 South Main Street, in Hope, Arkansas. Funeral service is 2:00pm Wednesday, May 20th, 2015, at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 301 South Elm Street, in Hope, Arkansas with Father J. Peterson Smith and Rev. David Porterfield officiating.
