Evelyn Irene Russell left this world to join her Heavenly Father on August 3. Born August 27, 1938 in Laneburg, AR to Arlis and Jessie Mae Adams. Evelyn graduated from Hope High School in 1956 and married Billy Grant Russell of Hope, AR. Evelyn was a homemaker, church secretary and later retired from Dallas ISD in 2003. She was a Christian and active member of Casa View Baptist Church for more than 40 years. Unfortunately, Evelyns health took her from her family and friends too early in life. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Gregory Byron. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Billy Grant, children: Elizabeth, Cathy Glass and husband Michael and Robert Russell and wife Cathy, grandchildren: Seann Powell and husband Ross, Casey Russell and Grant Glass, and the Nogle Family, Harold, Gail, Harold and wife Heather, and Lauren and husband Ryan. Evelyn also leaves behind her sister, Mary Ida Rankin and husband Jim of Golden, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 6, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Graveside Service will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, AR on August 7 at 11 am, Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
