Mr. Ferral Nelson, age 86 of Bluff City, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his home. Mr. Nelson was born April 12, 1929 in Emmet, Arkansas, to Hercil Lester and Donna Mae Gathright Nelson. He was a member of Morris Baptist Church and he served in the United States Marine Corps. He also enjoyed the rodeo circuit, riding bulls and broncos. Mr. Nelson worked in construction as a welder and a plumber. Mr. Nelson was a Baptist Minister since 1958, and as a minister, he traveled to several different countries to build churches. Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, Hercil and Donna Mae Nelson, two daughters; Connie Wells, Paula Edwards, and two sisters; Annie Bright and Sandra Spry.

Survivors include: his wife, Glenda "Bolt" Nelson of Bluff City, Arkansas, one son, Jack Reynolds and his wife, Kathy, of Borger, Texas, five daughters; Shelley Dickson and her husband, David, of Magnolia, Arkansas, Doris Wright and her husband, Alan, of White Oak Lake, Arkansas, Laurie Pilgreen and her husband, Bobby, of Bluff City, Arkansas, Gail Pendleton and her husband, Rusty, of Bossier City, Louisiana, Cindy McInnis and her husband, Donnie, of Shreveport, Louisiana, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and many, many grand-dogs.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Morris Baptist Church: 3763 Nevada 23, Prescott, AR 71857.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Morris Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Cross and Bro. David Dickson officiating. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Gurdon, Arkansas. Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
