Mrs. Francene Maudie Mohon Jones, age 98, of Maud, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in Texarkana, TX.  She was born in Emmet, AR., on January 20, 1919, to William Wesley and Bessie Abigail Smith Mohon.  She was a LVN Nurse, housewife and mother; a Sunday School Teacher; a member of the choir and loved   helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert Cheslie Jones; five brothers, John Mohon, Willis Mohon, R.E. Mohon, Burton Mohon, and Earl Mohon; and four sisters, Bertie Mohon Ferguson, Hazel Mohon Dougan, Annabel Mohon Hill and Audrey Mohon.

She is Survived by:  One Son: Ronald Earl Jones, Maud, TX,; One Daughter:  Elizabeth Abigail Bilbrey Jones, Maud, Tx.; Four Grandchildren: Kevin Jones and Kim, Redwater, TX, Aaron Bilbrey and Carolyn, Manalapan, NJ, Jerry Jones and Mary, Maud, TX, Ronnie Jones and Heather, Fayetteville, AR.; 10 Great Grandchildren:  Jacob Jones and Jessica Jones; Kailee Jones; Joshua Jones and Bree Montgomery; Amanda Bilbrey; Kristen Jones; Joseph Jones; Jordan Jones; Colin Jones; Sloan Jones; and Kadin Jones; Two Great-Great Grandchildren Emma Kate Jones and Ella Grace Jones.

Family will receive friends: beginning at 1:00 p.m prior to the service on Thursday, August 31, 2017, until service time.

Funeral Services will be:  2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, AR. with Rev. Jerry L. Jones officiating. Burial to be in Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
