MRS. FRANCES MARIE POWELL, 63, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Christus St. Michael Health System, Texarkana, Texas. She was born November 8, 1946, in Mission, Texas to John Joseph and Annie Lee Johnson Theis. She was a Hope High School graduate, a homemaker and former beautician. She was preceded in death by her parents; by three brothers, James, John Joseph and Thomas Theis and two sisters, Margaret Glover and Dorothy Fregia. Survivors Include: Her husband, of 44 years, Burnice Powell, Hope, AR. Three daughters: Susan LaCaze, Hope, AR, Tara J. Powell, Hope, AR, Crystal Leigh Powell, Rumney, New Hampshire. Four sisters, Helen Jordan, Buffalo, TX, Josephine Helms, Lewisville, AR, Lorraine Rather, Delight, AR and Patricia Powell, Patmos, AR. Two grandchildren, Eric LaCaze,and Skylar LaCaze, Hope.
