Mrs. Frances Josephine Snyder Brandon, 90, of Hondo, Texas, (Formerly of Hope, Arkansas) passed away Monday, March 16, 2009, at Hondo Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Hondo, Texas. She was born October 18, 1918, in Hope, Arkansas, the daughter of Kline and Reva (Garrett) Snyder. She was the granddaughter of Dr. H.J.F. and Frances Garrett of Hope. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George S. Brandon. Survivors include: One Daughter: Betsy Smith and husband, Cleo, Littlefield; One Son: George Brandon and wife, Terri, Hondo, TX., and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their gratitude and thanks to Mrs. Doris Brown of Hope for the love she has shown and given our family. Frances loved you as a sister and you remain a second mother to us! Graveside services are 10:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2009 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas, with Mr. George Ford Brandon officiating. Burial to follow.
