Mr. Franklin H. Alsobrook, Jr., 61, Hope, Arkansas, (formerly of Mansfield, LA) passed away Friday, October 9, 2009, in a Hope Hospital. He was born August 29, 1948, in Beaumont, Texas to Franklin H. Sr. and Margie Reed Alsobrook. He was a pulp mill supervisor for International Paper Co.; former Nakoosa Edwards employee in Ashdown; former president of Union at Potlatch in McGee; former president of Jaycees; and former umpire and member of Baseball Association in both Ashdown, Are. and Mansfield, La. He was a member of a non-denominational church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie; his grandmother( who raised him) Ollie Trailor; one sister, Diane Kennedy. His Survivors Include: His Wife: Genevieve Patton Alsobrook, Hope, Ark. Two Sons: John Collins and Brandi, Hope, Ark. Franklin H. "Tony" Alsobrook, III, and Amanda, Mansfield, La. Three Daughters: Becky Adams and Billy, Little Rock, Ark., Ginny Witcher and Duane, Spring Hill, Ark., Renee Brunson and Jim, Foley, Alabama. His Father: Franklin Alsobrook, Sr., Safety Harbor, Florida Three Brothers: Homer Alsobrook, Safety Harbor, Florida, Ricky Alsobrook, U.S. Coast Guard, Gary Lee Alsobrook, San Diego Calif. and Sixteen grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 943 East Polk Street, Mansfield, LA. 71052, with Mr. Rich Varner officiating.
