Obituary

Mr. Frank Hence White, 86, our beloved Father, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 16 in Ft. Worth, TX after a long illness. Mr. White was born, Sunday, October 12, 1924 in Hope, Arkansas to Marshall H. and Mable Oaks White. He was the second of six children, having two brothers and three sisters. He moved to Ft. Worth as a young man where he met his wife. They had two daughters. He opened his first dry cleaning business in 1950 and soon relocated to the Mistletoe Heights area near downtown Ft. Worth. He was well-known and respected for his expertise in dry cleaning specializing in hand finishing garments for men as well as women. In early 1970 he bought a warehouse building on Bryan Avenue on the south side and opened a new type facility, Frank White Wholesale Drapery and Rug Cleaners and retired in 2007. He is survived by his two daughters Bronwyn Holland of Azle, TX and Elaine Washington of Watauga, TX, two grandchildren; Marlene Davis and Brittney Lybbert, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00am, Friday, August 19 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home, Prescott. Graveside service 10:00am, Saturday, August 20 at the Snell Cemetery in Emmet, Arkansas with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland to officiate. Burial to follow under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
