Mrs. Frieda Mae Milam, age 91, of Springhill, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Wadley Regional Medical Center of Hope. She was born January 17, 1922, in Center Point, Arkansas, to Jessie Lee and Nancy Ethel Phillips Priddy. Mrs. Milam was a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church in Springhill, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard Milam, Daughter, Gloria Jo Elder brother, Lee Priddy, sisters, Lois Hill, Imogene Wilson, and nephew Michael Hill. Mrs. Milam is survived by a son, Bobby Rivers of Hope, Arkansas, grandchildren, Bettina Strange and husband Malcom of Hope, Teresa Owen and husband Randy of Hope, Tammy Mae Elder of Hope, Tracy Guidry of Hope. Great-grandchildren, Michael Prosser, Robin Prosser, Jeremy Owen, Christopher Owen, Stacy Schobey, Dusty Schobey, and Tiffany Schobey, all of Hope. Great-great-grandchild, Natalie Prosser of Hope. Niece, Dauita Hardy, nephews, Charles Wayne Priddy, and Roger Lee Priddy. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, July 8, 2013 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Rev. Revel Kidd and Rev. Gary Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery in Hope.
