Mr. Gary L. "Shorty" Faulkner, age 64 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his home. He was born November 26, 1950, in Emmet, Arkansas, to the late James. M. Faulkner and Priscilla McSweeny. He was a member of The Church of Christ. Mr. Faulkner worked for Green Lee Sheet Metal in Hope for over 40 years and was a very dedicated hard worker. His favorite hobbies were hunting and just being an outdoorsman, but, most of all, Mr. Faulkner loved his children and family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Faulkner. Survivors include; one son, Blake Faulkner of Emmet, Arkansas, two daughters, Elizabeth and Brooke Faulkner, both of Emmet, Arkansas, one brother, Frank Faulkner, wife, Jan, of Emmet, Arkansas, one sister, Barbara Calhoon, husband, Buddy, of Hope, Arkansas, three nieces; Renee Faulkner, of Hope, Arkansas, Tammy Gibbs of Alabama, Donna Rodriquez of Alabama, four nephews; Gary Don Faulkner of Emmet, Arkansas, Jerry and Mike Calhoon, both of Springhill, Arkansas, Marcus Faulkner of Florida, two great-nieces, Madison Faulkner, Mazie Calhoon, two great-nephews, Jake Faulkner, Justin Calhoon, and other family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Mr. John Ratliff officiating. Burial to follow at Snell Cemetery in Emmet, Arkansas.
