Mr. George Frank DeVenney, age 83 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope.  Mr. DeVenney was born in Conroe, Texas on April 26, 1933 to Buck and Thelma Wright DeVenney. He was a retired employee of Nekoosa Papermill working in the   maintenance department and of the Baptist faith. He is predeceased by his parents; Buck and Thelma DeVenney, a daughter; Melissa DeVenney and a sister; Emma Sue Daugherty.

Survivors include; his wife, of 49 years, Emily DeVenney of Hope, four sons; Frank DeVenney, his wife, Judy, Jeff DeVenney, Tim DeVenney, his wife, Alison and Ben DeVenney all of Hope, two daughters; Elaine Arnold, her husband, Sam of Camden and Patricia Beavers, her husband, Mike of Hope, a brother; Wayne DeVenney, six grandchildren: Jacob DeVenney, Zack DeVenney, Kyla Fortenberry, Angela Carlton, Jason and Joey Downs, ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation, will be 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery 2901 West 3rd St. Hope with Bro.
