Mr. George M. Shelton Jr., age 80 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, January 1, 2015 in Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Shelton was born on Sunday, September 30, 1934 in Rison, Arkansas to M.N. and Olevia Honea Shelton. He is a retired truck driver for Martin Oil Company and a Baptist. Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Elizabeth Shelton and two brothers; Tommy and Robert Shelton. Mr. Shelton is survived by three sisters; Betty McBride and Bobbi Brown both of Prescott and Ruby Hicks of Mt. Holly, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews, other family member and friends. Family visitation, 2:00 to 4:00pm, Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. Graveside service 2:00pm, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Caney Cemetery in Caney with Bro.
