Mrs. Georgia Alene "Shorty" Ferguson Hill, age 89 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in Beebe, Arkansas. She was born on April 5, 1927 in Sutton, Arkansas to John Luther and Carrie Lee Grant Ferguson. Mrs. Hill was a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown, Arkansas and worked for the Shan House, retiring from Firestone with over 20 years of employment. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Rowland Hill, two sons; Lacy Hill and Leslie Roy Hill, a daughter; Lee Anita Hill, two brothers; Carroll Ferguson and Billy Ray Ferguson, one grandson; Jimmy Goodson and a great-grandson; Landon David Hill.

Survivors include a brother; Doyle Ferguson, wife, Judy of Prescott, a sister; Ruth Ann Cook, husband, Mike of Beebe, Arkansas, daughter-in-law, Patricia Hill Stainbrook of Emmet, sister-in-law, Glenda Westmoreland of Prescott,numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews other family members and friends.

Visitation is from 1:00 to 2:00pm, Thursday, December 15, 2016, before the service at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.
