Gertrude McRae Pogue, 82, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 in her daughters home in Harker Heights, TX. She is formerly of Royal, Arkansas. She was born in Prescott, Arkansas, on July 15, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Jamie McRae; her sister Miriam McRae, and her husband Jim Pogue. She retired from Wal-Mart after 17 years. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and going to church. She also loved her family very much. Survivors include one son, Tom Sallee and his wife Roberta of East Hampton, NJ; two daughters, Miriam Sallee of N. Little Rock, AR; and Amy Goff and her husband Matthew of Harker Heights, TX; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, AR. A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, at the Spirit of Ft.
