Mrs. Gladys Hunt Easterling, 89, Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010. She was born December 15, 1920, to George Wilford Hunt, Sr. and Laura Alice Stewart Hunt in their home outside Prescott, Arkansas. Gladys was married to Woodrow Easterling on November 21, 1948. She worked as a secretary for Ozan Lumber Co. in Prescott and briefly for Potlatch Lumber Co. She then completed her career as a secretary to J.R. Bemis, the retired president of Ozan Lumber Co. Gladys was a long time active member of the Prescott Church of Christ and then the Pleasant valley Church of Christ in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, George Wilford Hunt, Jr. and Harold Lawrence Hunt. SURVIVED BY: Two Daughters: Mary Alice Easterling; Charlotte Workman and Ronald; A Brother-In-Law: Calvin Easterling; One Sister-In-Law: Marguerite Rowe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, Little Rock, Arkansas.
