Mrs. Gladys Wicker, age 96 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Wicker was born May 30, 1919 in Boughton, Arkansas, to Homer Basil and Mary Belle Smith Elmore. She was a member of the Laneburg United Pentecostal Church. She was a homemaker and her hobbies were to quilt and sew, cook, and bake cakes. Mrs. Wicker was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mary Belle Elmore, her husband, Henry Franklin Wicker, one daughter, Donna Blevins, two brothers; Orland and L.C. Elmore, three sisters; Eris Goodloe, Frances McDade, Erma Sandidge, and one brother-in-law, Watson "Shorty" McDade.

Survivors include; one son, James Franklin Wicker and his wife, Jennifer, of Marion, Arkansas, one daughter, Henrietta Parker of Fordyce, Arkansas, one sister, Betty Dodwell of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, Arkansas.

Funeral Service is 2:00pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Chapel with Bro. Mike Steed officiating. Burial to follow at Caney Cemetery in Caney, Arkansas.
