Glanis Adalene Crane, 72, of Hope, AR passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Texarkana, TX.

She was born in Tucson, AZ on June 2, 1950, to Leo and Fannie Wood. She lived in Hope, AR with her husband Jerry T. Crane.

Glanis is preceded in death by her son Lance Crane, grandson Jonathan Crane, her father Leo Wood, and her sister Buneva Lazenby. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years Jerry T. Crane, daughter Autumn Crane Schafer (Jeff) of Frisco, TX, son Nathaniel Crane (Lauren) of Hope, AR, and her grandchildren, Sophia, Selah, Julia, Micah, Lydiah, and Elijah;

great-grandchildren Tristan and Suellen. Also survived by her mother Fannie Wood of Hope, AR, her sister Deatra Farmer (Steve) of Vero Beach, FL, and brothers Odle Wood (Susie) of New Bern, NC, Keith Wood (Cheryl) of Blevins, AR, and Kent Wood (Carol) of Little Rock, AR.

She was a graduate of Rhema Bible College, a talented artist, and an anointed teacher and speaker. Glanis was the co-founding pastor of A Place of Meeting in Hope, AR. Her life was often spent behind the scenes helping others to shine; she was the spiritual mama to many whose wisdom and relentless faith inspired us all.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 5-8 PM at Brazzel Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at A Place of Meeting located at 7302 Highway 67 East, Hope, AR 71801 on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 2 PM with Bro. Jeremy Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to A Place of Meeting for Lebanon Missions Fund and can be mailed to PO Box 6724, Hope, AR 71802.
