Mrs. Gloria J. Rivers Elder Moore, 64 of Hope, Arkansas passed away this morning at Christus St. Michael Health System, Texarkana, Texas. She was born in Dierks, Ark. on July 27, 1944 to Joe Dell and Frieda Priddy Rivers. She was a homemaker and retired nurses aid at Pinehope Nursing and Rehab Center, Hope, Ark. She was a member of Whitestone Fellowship Church and member of the Eastern Star of Hope. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Howard Milam. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Four Daughters: Tina Prosser, Spring Hill, Ark. Teresa Owen, Hope, Ark. Tracy Schobey Guidry, Hope, Ark. Tammy Elder, Hope, Ark. Her Mother: Frieda Milam, Spring Hill, Ark. One Brother: Bobby Rivers, Hope, Ark. One Half-Sister: Betty Robinson, Hope, Ark. A Special Friend: G. Troy Flowers, Spring Hill, Ark. And Seven Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Nick Flowers officiating.
