Obituary

Mrs. Grace Marilyn Smith, age 60 of Fulton, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her home in Fulton.  She was born in Hope, Arkansas on April 11, 1956 to Cecil E. and Lorene V. Clay Smith.  Grace Marilyn served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and she is of the Christian faith. She is retired from the Red River Army Depot.  She had served as the Past Commander for Disabled American Veterans Chapter #51, American Legion Post #58, Past State Disabled American Veteran Commander and a member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter #278.

She is preceded in death by her father; Cecil E. Smith, her husband, John E. Douglas.

Survivors include; her son; Gary A. Smith of Fulton, her daughter; Natasha V. Smith Brand, husband SSG. David of Ft. Hood, TX, her mother; Lorene Peppie V. Smith of Fulton,  a brother; Thomas Gary Smith of Hope, grandchildren; Elisa Grace Smith, David James, Isaac and Amelia Brand, and nephew, Tevor Smith and niece; Ashley Smith both of Hope, other family members and friends.

Visitation; 6:00 to 8:00pm, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR

Funeral service, 10:00am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main St. Hope, AR
