MISS GRACE VICKERS, 103, of Hot Springs, Arkansas (Formerly of Emmet, Ark.), passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Lakewood Nursing Home, Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born on May 5, 1904, in Nevada County, Ark., to John and Ida Shackelford Vickers. She was a retired registered nurse and attended the Emmet United Methodist Church and the First Baptist Church of Emmet, Ark. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ira Vickers and Ray Vickers; and by one sister, Burnham Vickers Brooks. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: THREE NEPHEWS: Richard Vickers and Sandra, Hot Springs, Ark. Vick Vickers and LaVelle, Austin, Texas. Bobby Brooks, West Monroe, LA. ONE NIECE: Martha Varnado and Charlie, Winnsboro, LA. And Several Cousins and Friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m. Tues., February. 26, 2008, Emmet United Methodist Church, Emmet, Ark. with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial in Snell Cemetery, Emmet, Ark.
