Mr. Gregory Gaines, 54 of Prescott passed away, Friday, July 27, 2012 at his home. He was born October 22, 1957 in Hempstead, Texas to Tiery Edwin and Mable Turner Gaines. Gregory was employed by Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, Arkansas for over 10 years as a respiratory therapist and he is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness English Congregation of Hope. Gregory is preceded in death by his mother, Mable Turner Gaines. Greg enjoyed music, cars and seafood. He was a gifted carpenter and could fix anything. He was a hard working husband and loving father. Survivors include; his wife, Heather Johnson Gaines of Prescott, his two sons; Gabriel Gaines of the home and Christopher Gaines of Hollywood, California, his father; Tiery Edwin Gaines of Hempstead, TX, a brother; Tiery Edwin Gaines, Jr, of Hempstead, TX and his sister; Anita Gaines of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who refer to him as Uncle Sput. A Memorial service is planned for Gregory at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
