Mr. G. W. Dorman, age 86 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home. Mr. Dorman was born April 11, 1929 in Bodcaw, Arkansas, to Amos Green and Lola Purtle Dorman. He is of the Baptist Faith and he loved to grow his garden vegetables and raise his cattle. Mr. Dorman served in the United States Army and participated in the Korean War. Mr. Dorman is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Lola Dorman, five brothers; Earl, Curtis, Olva, A.G., and Basil Dorman, six sisters, Alta Mullins, Gladys Moorehead, Ruby Vines, Leona Garner, Opal Barger, and Lola Mae Allen.

Survivors include: his lovely wife of 67 years, Geneva Dorman of Hope, Arkansas, two daughters; Karen Gutierrez and her husband, Johnny, of Hope, Arkansas, Kathleen Wicker and her husband, Keith, of Hope, Arkansas, one sister, Jude Allen of Bodcaw, Arkansas, three grandchildren; Jason Gutierrez of Prescott, Arkansas, Richard Wicker of Paragould, Arkansas, Jeana Gutierrez of West Fork, Arkansas, three great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00pm Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Funeral service is 2:00pm Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas. Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
