Mr. Harrison R. Bailey, 85 of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, formerly of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away, Friday, September 9, 2011. Mr. Bailey was born, Thursday, November 12, 1925 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Harrison John and Mabel Rich Bailey. He is a member of South Fork Baptist Church in Gurdon, AR, a retired storekeeper for Arkansas Power & Light, now Entergy, for 37 years and had his own electrical repair company for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, of 55 years, Sylvia Ricketts Bailey. Survivors include; son, John Bailey and wife, Vickie of Conway, daughter; Ruth Ann Byers and husband, Jim Don of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a brother; Donald Bailey of Alexander, AR, four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service, 10:00am, Monday, September 12 at South Fork Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Anderson officiating. Visitation will start at 9:00am till service time. Burial to follow in South Fork Cemetery with Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott in charge of the arrangements.
