Mrs. Helen G. Morris, age 89 of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away, January 3, 2017 in Gurdon. Helen was born in Emmet, Arkansas on October 13, 1927 to Sidney and Margaret Vinia McElroy Dougan.  She was a retired Certified Nurse's Assistant, working for a nursing home and she was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Morris, brothers; J.R., Raymond, and Carl Dougan, her three sisters; Ora Avery, Martha Scroggins and Lilly Stewart.

Survivors include; two sons; Jackie Manzella, wife, Mary of Burtsell, AR, Johnny Manzella, wife, Kathy of Austin, TX, two daughters; Joy Toliver of Hope, and Jill McClure & Jamey Dyer of Gurdon, AR, a brother; Bennie Dougan, wife, Kathleen of Hope, twelve grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy 371 West Prescott, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
