Mrs. Helen June Beavert Smith, age 72, of Hamburg, Arkansas, formerly of Prescott, passed away, Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Smith was born March 22, 1941, in Prescott, Arkansas, to Romie and Helen Beavers Beavert. She was a Baptist and a home maker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Percy D. Smith. Survivors include a son; Rick McKelvey and wife Joyce of Hamburg, Arkansas, two daughters; Terri Jackson of Prescott and Debbie Craig and husband Lindell also of Prescott and her brother, Danny Beavert and wife Faith of Prescott, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, September 30 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Funeral service will be, 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the Brazzel/Cornish Chapel in Prescott with Bro. Tommy Nash officiating. Burial to follow in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott.
