Mrs. Helen Marie Ware Franks, 91, of Little Rock, Ark. (formerly of Hope, AR) died April 8, 2010, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock , AR. Mrs. Franks was born Helen Marie Ware on April 3, 1919 in Bodcaw, to Jessie Harmon Ware and Adra Othello (Fincher) Ware. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Griffin Lynn Franks; her parents; daughter, Billy Dawn Moore of Little Rock , AR and son Jerry Lynn Franks of Tulsa , OK ; two sisters, Marjorie Nell East and Pansy Evelyn West and brother, Otis Bernard Ware. Mrs. Franks is survived by: Her devoted son, Mike Franks , who cared for her until her death, Little Rock. Four grandchildren: Mark Moore, Little Rock, AR.; Vance Moore, Hattiesburg, MS.; J.L. Franks, Tulsa, OK.; Shelly Bagwell, Jinks, OK.; Seven great-grandchildren; Three sisters: Peggy Sue Kite, Ashdown; Patsy Ann Lavender, Ashdown; Joan Bobo, Ashdown; Two brothers: James Lynn Ware, Ashdown, Bobby Charles Ware, Ashdown. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., at St. John United Methodist Church, Hope , AR., Sunday, April 11, 2010, with Rev. Jerry Evans officiating.
