Mr. Herdith Anthony, age 74, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. He was born in Prescott, Arkansas, on January 1, 1936, to Perry and Edith Redic Anthony, Sr. He was an Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a Supervisor for 30 years with Firestone and member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers William Anthony and Perry Anthony, Jr., and two sisters Hazel Anthony Reed and Ophelia Anthony Foster. His Survivors Include: His Wife Jessie Mae George Anthony, Prescott, Arkansas. Two Daughters: Michelle Anthony Johnson, Texarkana, Texas; Carla Anthony Christopher, Prescott, Arkansas. Three Brothers: Benjamin Anthony, Little Rock, Arkansas; Grady Anthony, Little Rock, Arkansas; Robert Anthony, Dallas, Texas. Five Sisters: Perrine Anthony Franklin, Prescott, Arkansas; Marion Anthony Briggs, Prescott, Arkansas; Betty Anthony Murchison, Little Rock, Arkansas; Lillie Anthony Nimmer, Little Rock, Arkansas; Barbara Anthony Box, Rockford, Illinois. Two Grandchildren: Casheba Colbe Christopher; Braxton ONeal Johnson. And several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Prescott, Arkansas, with Rev. Mickey L. Manning officiating. Burial will follow at DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, Arkansas.
