Mrs. Herloise Boswell "Perk" Miller, 95, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away in her sleep, Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at her home, in Hope, Arkansas. She was born April 16, 1914, in Bodcaw, Arkansas to John Monroe Boswell and Bennie Angieline Deaton Boswell. She was educated in Hope schools and became a beautician and co-owner of Boswell Sisters Beauty Salon in Hope. She was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church of Hope and served as a Sunday School Teacher in her earlier years. She volunteered at the Little Rock Veterans Hospital; was a Pink Lady at the Medical Park Hospital Ladies Auxiliary; served as a Chaplain of the Cain Chapter of the D.A.R. in Washington, Arkansas; volunteered for the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty years, James H. Jimmie Miller, three sisters; Ruth Ellen Boswell Vann, Wilma Boswell Browning, and Lucittie Boswell Neumeister. Because of her great love and unselfish ways, everyone whose path she crossed felt special and loved. She loved the Lord. The life she lived was an inspiration to others. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Three Nephews: David Rae Neumeister, Walton, Kentucky. Darrell Vann, Magnolia, Arkansas. Dean Miller, Kilgore, Texas. Three Nieces: Treesa Vann Stuart, Arkansas and Harvey, Louisiana. Betty Jane Bridges, Heber Springs, Arkansas. Charlotte Leslie, Texarkana, Texas and Several Great Nieces and Nephews who viewed her as their grandmother. And A Number Of Other Relatives and Friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 10:00 a. m.
