Obituary

Mr. Herman Holliday, age 88 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his home.  Mr. Holliday was born in Decatur, Alabama on July 8, 1929 to William John and Lola Mae Woodall Holliday.  He was a retired mechanic, a member of the First Assembly of God Church; and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Holliday is preceded in death by his parents; William John and Lola Mae Holliday, his wife, Linnie Mae East Holliday, a son; William Kenneth Holliday, three brothers; James, Billy and George Holliday, two sisters; Flora May Shackleford and Ruby Kemp and a great-grandson; Hunter Lee Clinkerbeard, Jr.

Survivors include; four sons; Kevin Dewayne Holliday, wife, Sandra of  Hope,  Ronald McWilliams, wife, Tommie of Pittsburg, TX, Jerry McWilliams, wife, Tiffany of Deann, AR, and Larry McWilliams, wife, Ann of Hope, three daughters;  Donna Davidson of Arlington, TX, Gwen Jordan, husband, John and Wanda Percy , husband, Zacary all of Paris, TX and a "special" daughter-in-law, Sandra Holliday of Hope, two brothers; John Holliday of Carrollton, TX, and Robert Holliday of Redkey, Indiana, and a sister; Mary Hodge of Hope, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A" special" thank you goes to Ann McWilliams for her kind and caring way of giving.  The family would like to recognize the Hospice of Texarkana for their loving care and wonderful support during this time of our family needs.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service is 10:00am on Friday, September, 1, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Martin officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope.
