Mr. Hubert Lee Parker, 81 of Hope passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. He was born in Prescott, Arkansas on September 10, 1928, to Mr. and Mrs. William David Parker. He was a retired Logger and Poultry Farmer, a Baptist, a member of the Prescott V.F.W. and he loved to dance. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ollie Pruitt Parker; two sons, David and Charles Parker; one daughter, Barbara Smith; and one sister, Florene Rosenbaum. His survivors include: Two Sisters: Laverne Masters, Bismarck, Ark., Lanell Nash, Murfreesboro, Ark. Four Grandchildren: Weston Smith and Carol, Prescott, Ark. Eric Smith and Margie, Blevins, Ark. Angela Smith, Blevins, Ark. and Nathan Smith and Nicole, Hope, Ark. Special Friend: Joyce McRoy, Hope, Ark. And Nine Great-Grandchildren, Other Relatives and Friends. GRAVESIDE Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2009, at South Fork Cemetery, Gurdon, Arkansas, with Rev. James Cox officiating. Burial to follow.
