Mr. Huey R. Dickson, age 78 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday July 20, 2018 in a local nursing home.  Mr. Dickson was born in Goldonna, Louisiana to Sherman and Vernie Allison Dickson. He was a retired truck driver, welder, a veteran of the United States Army and of the Christian faith.  Mr. Dickson enjoyed fishing and hunting as his hobbies as well as spending time with family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Vernie Dickson.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Dickson of Hope, a son James Ray Dickson and a daughter Barbara Mann both of Marshall, Texas, two sisters Cathy Tucker of Hope and Jean Towns of Hodge, Louisiana and one grandchild Jamie Dickson, other family member and friends.

Funeral service is 2:00pm on Sunday, July 22, 2018 with visitation one hour before service at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope.
