Obituary

MR. HULON HASKELL MORSE, SR., 81, of Hope, Arkansas, went home to be with the Master Builder on Wednesday April 30, 2008, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1927 in Emerson, Ark., to Troy Nelson and Odus Evelyn McDonald Morse. He was a 3rd generation master carpenter. He was a Baptist and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He loved his family and to hunt, fish and to garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Cecil Hubert Morse, Willis Byrd Morse, Charles Edgar Morse, and Clifford Berdell Morse; and by one sister Cornera Lee Cheatham Tyson. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: (of 61 years) Mildred Dean Morse, Hope, Ark. TWO SONS: William Troy Morse, Magnolia, Ark. Hulon Haskell Morse, Jr. and Sharon, Hope, Ark. TWO DAUGHTERS: Leta Raye Nelson and Stanley, Lewisville, Ark. Reta Kaye Morse, Rosston, Ark. ONE SISTER: Ruby Branton, Sarepta, LA. SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN: Pam Brown, Amanda Massanelli, Chris Morse, all of Hope, Ark. Sharon Hall, Texarkana, U.S.A. Michelle Conroy, Arkadelphia, Ark. Michael Morse, Plano, TX. Brandy McGhee, Sikeston, MO. AND Nine Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild AND a Host Of extended family and friends. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Huckabee Cemetery, Spring Hill, Ark., with Rev. Larry Byers and Rev. Glen Shults officiating. Burial to follow. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS: Friday, May 2, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark.
