MR. JACK T. BUTLER, 85, of Hot Springs, Ark.,(Formerly of Hope, Ark.). He passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, at St. Josephs Mercy Health Center, Hot Springs, Ark. He was born on March 7, 1922 in Hope, Ark., to James Thomas and Elizabeth Herring Butler. He was retired from Firestone of Prescott, Ark. after 18 years and former employee of the former Meyers Bakery of Hope. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Hope, Ark. He was an Air Force Veteran and loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded by one daughter Jacqueline Butler, two brothers, James and R.W. Butler, and by two sisters Lera Mae Mathison and Cleo Bigham. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: (of 62 years) Jean R. Butler, Hot Springs, Ark. ONE SON: Greg Butler and Sherry, Hot Springs, Ark. TWO DAUGHTERS: Becky Williams and Sonny, Texarkana, Ark. Debbie Butler, Hot Springs, Ark. TWO BROTHERS: Billy Joe Butler and Marjorie, Hope, Ark. Charles Butler, Hope, Ark. ONE SISTER: Margie Brumfield, Texarkana, TX. SIX GRANDCHILDREN: Stacey Davis and Richard, Magnolia, Ark. Kevin Clark and April, Hope, Ark. Charles Williams and Trish, Conway, Ark. Chad Williams, Conway, Ark. Zack Jones and Kelly, Lawton, OK. Troy Jones, Hot Springs, Ark. And Nine Great-Grandchildren: Taylor, Tatum, Zander, Kaylee, Carter, Rebecca, Christopher, Matthew & Ty. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark., with Rev. Jim Sayers and Rev. Glen Tropp officiating.
