Obituary

Mr. M. H. "Jack" Fielding, 92, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Jack was born June 13, 1918 in Sutton, Arkansas to George P. and Cora Waddle Fielding. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope. He served in the U. S. Navy 1942-1944. Jack retired as Electrical Superintendent with Hope Water and Light, following a 43 year career. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and four sisters. Jack is survived by His Wife of 69 years, Edna, whom he married December 7, 1941; Two Daughters, Sharon Thomason of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jacque Allen and Mike of Lincoln, Arkansas; Sister, Bernice Reyenga and Josh of Shreveport, Louisiana; Sister-in-law, Helen Rutherford of Greenville, Texas; Three Grandchildren, Andy Allen and Colleen, Amy Burtrum and Cory, Kerry Cochran and Brian; Five Great-Grandchildren, Carter Allen, Clay Burtrum, Allie Burtrum, Eli Cochran, Anna Grace Cochran; Special Care Givers, bette Vaughn, Betty Miller, and Vickie Wilson. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas with Bro. Mark Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas. Family to receive friends Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas.
